Changes for the new stimulus plan

There has been conversations about the third round of the stimulus package but still no official date yet. The Senate passed President Bidens  $1.9 trillion COVID-relief packages, but there was one change. Steve Wamhoff is the Director of Federal Tax Police at Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy.

“The Senate bill would benefit 86 percent of adults and 85 percent of children, compared to 91 percent of adults and 90 percent of children,” said Wamhoff. The Senate proposed in the new plan that stimulus for people with an income above a certain amount be reduced. Single, head of household and joint filers that make under a certain amount will still receive the stimulus check. The new package was sent back to the House-of-Representatives because of the change and is now waiting to be passed.
